About Event

In times of massive spendings of money and resources on artificial intelligence development, we ask: What does our embodied intelligence need for growth and learning?

The science of embodiment shows that our bodies have far more intelligence than we often realize. Our senses are key in creating meaning, designing a fulfilling life and navigating the (business) world.

Right now, we face massive uncertainty regarding our futures. Where are our organizations and industries heading? What kind of futures do we want for ourselves and our communities? This is where futures literacy comes into play.

By combining embodiment and futures literacy, we arrive at the practice of embodied futures.

Agenda:

In this 2.5-hour workshop, we'll use theories and methods from improvisational theater, dance, and systemic counseling to explore #embodiedfutures.

You’ll learn how

  • improvisational exercises can help you and your team adapt faster to sudden changes and uncertainties at work.

  • to use embodiment exercises to spark emotional and deeper collaboration for the good of the organizational future.

About your hosts:

Anni Lattunen is a dance artist and a Biodynamic Craniosacral practitioner. The body in its manifold facets has always been a point of interest for her. She is trained as a dancer and has deepened into the inherent knowing of the body - into the wonder that we are - through an abundance of somatic movement practices. This wonder of how we constantly unfold into our embodied capacities is the gravitational axis of all the work she does. Besides working with individuals in her professional practice, she facilitates movement and embodiment workshops in and outside of Berlin.

Martin A. Ciesielski was born in Berlin, works as a consultant, trainer, professional (applied) improv player and researcher on embodied intelligence. He owns a Master's degree of communication sciences and media psychology. He loves to read as many books as possible, not finishing, creating open loops, combining their contents, letting them inspire him and others.
Martin is an author himself, writing about digital leadership at Springer Gabler publishing house.
