​Mass Medical Angels (MA2) is a seed-stage angel group investing $250K–$3M in life science and healthcare companies across medical devices, therapeutics, diagnostics, health services, health IT, and research tools. Founded in 2007 to address the early-stage funding gap for life science founders in New England, MA2 draws on a membership of researchers, clinicians, VCs, executives, and attorneys — and deep relationships across the Boston healthcare supercluster — to provide both capital and meaningful mentorship.

​Rick brings over 15 years on the MA2 Executive Committee alongside a career spanning multiple CEO roles in life sciences and software, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and 7 patents across a range of technologies.
