About the speaker:
Eva Mishor is a builder, neuroscientist, and entrepreneur, currently CTO of a stealth startup where she leads research and engineering of AI systems. She holds a PhD from the Weizmann Institute of Science and brings over six years of experience building production data and machine learning systems. Her work focuses on agentic AI and turning research into reliable, real-world systems.
About the talk:
As AI agents move from general-purpose assistants into production-grade coding tools, the key challenge is no longer model capability but the reliable delivery of procedural knowledge.
In this talk, Eva introduces Agent Skills: structured, portable units of workflows, code, and expertise, and shows how they impose consistency on inherently non-deterministic systems.
She will explore why skills often fail in practice—from fragile triggering mechanisms to the “less is more” effect, where concise, focused designs outperform exhaustive documentation. Finally, she contrasts active retrieval of modular skills with static approaches, arguing for a shift in how we build agents: instead of rebuilding from scratch, we should focus on developing a compounding library of high-signal, reusable skills.
