Medulla Show & Tell: Lunch with Edgar Pieterse
Some of the most useful thinking happens when people passing through stop long enough to share how they address the space between resilience and vitality, urgency and abundance that they're working on.
Show & Tell is a new Medulla format: a moment to pause, connect, and learn from each other over lunch or dinner. We host friends moving through Berlin for an informal exchange as a chance to surface the threads we're each pulling on and see what they spark in the room.
For this first gathering, we're glad to host Edgar Pieterse, founding director of the African Centre for Cities at the University of Cape Town, who is in Berlin this week.
The format is simple. Bring lunch. Bring a story from one of the threads you're working on, ideally with an artifact of some kind — a sketch, an object, a page, a prototype, whatever holds the idea. Bring energy to listen and exchange.
No agenda beyond good company and shared curiosity.
Practical notes
Starts: 12:00. Ground floor, Medulla.
Bring your own lunch.
Show & Tell is part of Medulla Ecotones, our series for work that happens at the edges — between institutions and communities, policy and ecology, ideas and practice. Each edition makes space to sense what's emerging in these transition zones.
