About Event

Sensory function is one of the least examined areas of preventive and longevity care, and one of the best evidenced. In this live session, preventive neurologist and brain health specialist Sita Kedia, MD, MPH, IFMCP walks through what the literature shows about vision, hearing, smell, taste and touch, why sensory change matters across the lifespan, and how practitioners can think about sensory measurement alongside the other longitudinal data they already collect. Open to ACE Immersion participants and practitioners. Sixty minutes with live Q&A.

Speaker: Sita Kedia, MD, MPH, IFMCP is a preventive neurologist and brain health specialist, and Chief Medical Officer at PALM Health. She serves on the SuperSenses medical advisory board.

SuperSenses is building a new category of longitudinal sensory measurement for brain health. Its standardized 30-minute assessment measures vision, hearing, smell, taste and touch together, allowing individuals and clinicians to establish a five-sense baseline and monitor change over time. SuperSenses works with clinicians, researchers and senior living organizations and is part of the AgeTech Collaborative from AARP. SuperSenses is a longitudinal monitoring tool and is not a diagnostic instrument.
