Power of Pause: Mindfulness & Meditation for Educators (6 week series)
Who?
This course geared toward teachers, instructional assistants, guidance counselors, principals, district staff and higher education faculty. Interested others are welcome to join.
What?
This 6 week, live virtual series introduces participants to the foundations of mindfulness and meditation.
Why?
Mindfulness builds our capacity to show up with more clarity, focus, and presence.
Mindfulness and meditation support educator health and wellbeing by reducing stress and preventing burnout.
How?
Participants will learn practical, evidenced based strategies to reduce stress, cultivate focus, and lead with calm and clarity.
Each session will consist of a teaching, an opportunity to practice a skill, breakout room discussions and Q&A. Attendees will be invited to apply their learning through short, daily practices outside of meeting times. To ensure a relational learning and practice community, the number of seats will be limited.

Wednesday mornings 9:00-10:30am (ET)
Dates: June 24 and July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
Cost?
This specific offering is offered at no cost to all those interested in learning. After registering, you will receive a brief form to complete followed by a calendar invite for all six sessions with zoom link.
