Workshop: A Path Forward for Humanities PhDs Leaving Academia

​A live, 2-hour Zoom workshop for humanities PhDs, ABDs, doctoral candidates, and post-docs exploring careers outside academia. We work through how to translate your academic expertise into language that connects with employers, using your own background as the raw material. Led by career consultant Jared Redick and Ryan Fowler, PhD.

​We’ll work on converting an academic CV into an industry-facing résumé, turning your academic experience into quantifiable business accomplishments, updating LinkedIn for non‑academic roles, and using Job Description Analysis (JDA) to see what employers really want.

​You’ll leave with résumé and cover letter templates, a reusable JDA worksheet, and a job‑submission tracker to support your search after the workshop.
