The Beautiful Decay: Reimagining Seasons of Change
An intimate salon-style gathering for dialogue and exchange
How do we honor the changing seasons and the cyclical nature of life?
The Beautiful Decay is a new seasonal gathering exploring fall not only as a time of transition, harvest, and release, but also as a season of possibility.
Our fall circle is an intimate experience, blending guided dialogue, a playful warm-up, and a collective imagination process to release the old and seed the new for the months ahead.
What to expect:
An intimate gathering with curious, creative peers in a cozy fall setting. Through intentional exchanges, open conversation, and light facilitation, we’ll reflect on the year’s harvest, release what no longer serves us, and imagine new possibilities together. The evening closes with personal commitments and a collective ritual, followed by time to mingle and connect.
What to bring:
An open mind and a curiosity for depth, connection, and fresh experiences.
When: Tuesday, October 21 | 4:00-6:30 PM
Where: Fabrik Dumbo | 20 Jay Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201
Who: Creative, adventurous souls who crave meaningful conversation and inspiring company. Space is limited to keep the gathering intimate. RSVP early to join us.
The experience is designed for people who enjoy going beyond small talk and aren't afraid of beautiful endings. Think cozy atmosphere, thoughtful prompts, and the kind of evening that lingers in your mind.
Note: By attending, you consent to photos being taken. Please let the host know if you prefer not to be photographed.

Host: Sasha Charlemagne, The Bureau of Play
Sasha works at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and culture. She’s guided companies through digital transformation, produced stories for film and television, and taught graduate students of design strategy, always with an eye toward how we might live, work, and play more intentionally.
At a time when many of us are navigating profound shifts — personally, culturally, and collectively — she created the Bureau of Play as a space to pause, connect, and imagine together. Her work blends design and cultural insight to cultivate new ways of seeing and being, and to grow a community rooted in creativity, depth, and connection.
