From the hills and hollers of Northern California comes a country/Americana/folk-rock trio whose members - Larry Carlin, Claudia Hampe, and Gary Bauman - are longtime friends with decades of experience playing various kinds of music. Imagine old-school country songs, bluegrass and a bit of old-time rock and roll, played on two acoustic guitars, with three lead singers and three-part harmonies!
ABOUT THE COLONELS
The Governor of Kentucky has directly bestowed upon each of the local Kentucky Colonels an official commission to meet regularly, enjoy good bourbon and good company, and benefit Kentucky and local nonprofit organizations. Our Colonels will donate any profits from this event towards flood relief and other good works.
Colonels and other guests will meet over Mint Juleps and Derby treats to enjoy fine entertainment whilst viewing TV coverage of the Churchill Downs festivities. These lead up to the official Kentucky Derby race, scheduled to start at 3:57 pm California time.
DRESS TO IMPRESS!
Our hostess Sheila Ash will invite women and men into her exclusive underground dressing area where for a small additional charge she can fit you out in Derby Day finery from her vast collection of costumes, hats and accessories. Clothes selection will start at noon, before our 1 pm watch party launch!
