The Context of Me

Where can I be fully myself, and where am I adapting myself to belong?

We all move through different social contexts. Work. Family. Friendships. Relationships. Community.

And without always realizing it, we can show up differently in each one. In some contexts, we feel expansive, relaxed, expressive, and fully ourselves. In others, we become more guarded, agreeable, responsible, performative, or small.

Sometimes adapting helps us belong. Sometimes we adapt so much that we lose touch with what actually feels true.

For our next Wild at Heart gathering, we will explore how the social contexts we move through influence how we show up, where we feel free to be fully ourselves, and where we adapt to belong.

Leave with a clearer sense of where you feel most like yourself, where you are adapting, and what you want to choose more intentionally going forward.

Space is intentionally limited. Bring a pen and journal, and dress for the elements. We’ll be sitting outside at Water Garden Park in Santa Monica. Snacks will be provided.

Your host:

Greta Petruska

Greta has never fit neatly into one label, one city, or one story. Growing up in Hungary, she was endlessly curious and determined to experience all that life had to offer. She spent more than two decades helping people navigate growth, leadership, and change while building a successful career of her own inside one of the world's most demanding institutions.

Some of life's greatest lessons, however, came far away from any office. They came while watching a sunrise in the African wilderness, moving across continents, starting over in a new country, and learning to trust herself when there was no clear roadmap ahead.

Today, Greta helps women navigate life’s transitions with greater clarity, courage, and self-trust. She believes that while circumstances change, the answers we seek are already within us, and that learning to relate to ourselves with love changes how we choose, connect, and move through life.

Eastern European by roots. Californian by choice. Always Wild at Heart.
