🐕 Pup Guidelines: All well-behaved dogs of all sizes are welcome, but please make sure your pup is comfortable being around other dogs — there will be friendly pups roaming freely.

The McDonough Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to saving dogs from overcrowded shelters in Southern California. We fight for the forgotten, the overlooked, and the at-risk. These dogs may be out of time - but they’re not out of hope.
Founded in February 2024, our mission is simple: to give as many dogs as we can a chance at a good life and unconditional love. We rescue because they deserve more than a cage and a countdown - they deserve a future. None of this work is possible without the support of the community. We can't thank you all enough.

Dogs Only Social Club (DOSC) is a free community group that brings pet lovers together across Los Angeles. DOSC is all about creating un-fur-gettable experiences and meaningful connections, uniting pet parents through tail-wagging events and charitable initiatives. From fetching dog-friendly parties at iconic LA spots to promoting animal welfare projects, DOSC helps people and their pups sniff out new friends while supporting local dog-friendly businesses and rescue organizations.
