About Speakers
Jan Christoph is a General Partner at Planet A. After founding his first company in 2004, Christoph co-founded Berlin Ventures, backing 40+ startups in Europe and the US. At Planet A, he has been investing in Physical AI with portfolio such as Gigaton, Automated Architecture, staer.ai, yaak.ai. Planet A is an early-stage European tech VC backing founders solving the world’s greatest challenges.
Matthias Dantone, entrepreneur turned investor. He founded and led Fashwell as CEO until its acquisition by Apple, where he started what became Apple Visual Intelligence. He is now co-founder of Ellipsis Venture, a thesis-driven early-stage AI fund based in Sweden and Switzerland, led by former operators from Google, Apple, and ETH Zurich. Ellipsis invests at pre-seed and seed in defensible AI deep-tech companies, including: juna.ai, invariantlabs.ai, Dreamfold.ai, Mirelo.ai, Bench, and OpenInfer, often alongside top-tier firms.
