What is a generalist?
Professionals who apply their skills across multiple domains, connect disparate ideas, or serve as "translators" between different teams and disciplines. If you've ever felt your career doesn't fit in a single box, this celebration is for you.
What to expect:
Connect with fellow generalists in your city
Celebrate the power of diverse skillsets and squiggly careers
Be part of a global movement happening the same day worldwide
Informal, fun way to meet up with other generalists in your area
Come to whichever part of the event works best for you, drop-ins welcome
About your host
Nicola Twiston Davies runs Game Plan - delivering interactive workshops that use meaningful play and reflection to bring companies' culture and values to life. Through games, intentional discussion, coaching and LEGO Serious Play, she helps teams strengthen the soft skills, connection and people-first culture that make companies genuinely successful.
This meetup is run by Nicola and organised by Generalist World - the community where generalists belong. You'll find everything you need to grow in your career - support, opportunity, lots of learning and great new connections.
Please note, you do not need to be a member of GW to join a meetup, everyone is welcome
