"Transtembé" Film Premiere: Nov 17, Monday Showing

​Este curta-metragem acompanha a reabertura da estrada ancestral Tembé e a estratégia da comunidade para a proteção territorial. O filme mostra como o processo REDD+ primeiro reconstruiu a unidade entre as aldeias e como essa reunificação política posteriormente se concretizou na reconstrução da estrada restaurando a mobilidade, a governança compartilhada e o controle coletivo da floresta. 

​A exibição será seguida por uma sessão de perguntas e respostas com a equipe WW e representantes da comunidade - Valber Tembé, Mauricio Terena, Cacique Piná, Valdeci Tembé.

​Haverá duas sessões de exibição (segunda-feira, 17 de novembro, das 15h às 18h GMT-3 [Sessão 1: das 15h às 16h30; Sessão 2: das 16h30 às 18h]). Após a aprovação da sua presença, você será convidado para uma das sessões.

​This short documentary follows the reopening of the Tembé ancestral road and the community’s strategy for territorial protection. The film shows how the REDD+ process first rebuilt unity between the villages and how that political reunification later became concrete in the reconstruction of the road—restoring mobility, shared governance and collective control of the forest.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers and community representatives - Valber Tembé, Mauricio Terena, Cacique Piná, Valdeci Tembé.

​There will be two showings (Monday, November 17, 3:00-6:00PM GMT-3 [Session one: 3:00-4:30PM; Session two; 4:30-6:00PM]). Once your attendance is approved, you will be invited to one of the showings.
