South Asians in Sports will sit down with Jay Chaudhry, a producer and director whose work spans sports, entertainment, and global brands, for a candid conversation about the business of storytelling.
From producing Hasan Minhaj’s conversation with Barack Obama to leading campaigns with LaMelo Ball × Meta and Russell Westbrook × Walmart, Jay has built a career turning big ideas and big personalities into compelling stories. He is also currently directing and executive producing Still Standing, a feature documentary following two-time world champion Billy Dib through championship success, personal tragedy, cancer, and redemption.

Jay Chaudhry is a producer, director, and creative strategist with more than two decades of experience across sports, entertainment, and digital media. He has led award-winning productions and branded campaigns featuring athletes across the NBA, NFL, UFC, and beyond, collaborating with global brands, agencies, and entertainment partners.
In 2017, Jay founded Break Media Group, an award-winning sports content agency recognized for its original programming and branded storytelling. Today, he serves as Chief Digital Officer at NILENT, leading creative vision, content strategy, and digital growth focused on education and career readiness for student-athletes. His work also includes directing and executive producing Still Standing, a feature documentary about two-time world champion Billy Dib.

Monis Khan is a sports media executive, journalist, and storyteller who currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of Bucks+, the Milwaukee Bucks’ official podcast network, where he oversees programming across audio, social, and YouTube.
Previously, Monis spent four years at ESPN, helping launch The Undefeated, the network’s groundbreaking platform focused on the intersection of sports, race, and culture. He also worked as an interview producer for Al Jazeera English’s The Stream before moving into sports media.
His career sits at the intersection of journalism, sports, culture, and original storytelling, making him a natural moderator for a conversation about the people and stories behind the sports industry.
