Berlin Local Hub: Using Liberating Structures to co-create learning people want to show up for
When you need to find out what people actually need, the usual options are another survey or another slide deck, even if AI now makes the deck faster to build. Both tend to leave the people you are designing for on the sidelines, and both can take a long time to tell you something the room could have told you right away.
Liberating Structures are simple, easy-to-learn formats that let everyone in a group contribute at the same time, so people feel seen, heard and respected from the start, and that is what gets them engaged and learning. That is especially useful if you want to work as a learning transformation advisor to executive leaders, and just as useful when you want to connect with people on every level of the organisation.
In this session you will experience a couple of these structures yourself, look at the mechanics that make them work , and pick one you really want to try.
✨ What you'll take away:
1. A first-hand feel for how collective intelligence can replace guessing what people need using Liberating Structures.
2. Connections with fellow L&D practitioners and a look at the challenges they are working on.
3. Feedback on a challenge of your own.
4. A structure you are excited to use with your own audience or stakeholders.
