INTRODUCTION TO Emergency Preparedness

We all know we should be prepared for an emergency, so let's work together to make our homes and neighborhood more resilient! Evan Lloyd, Emergency Manager from the City of Nanaimo will give us an introduction on emergency preparedness to increase our resilience in case of disaster.

Evan will bring a number of information materials, so let us know if you are coming.

The event will be outdoors. We will have tents as much as we can :)

SEED SUMMERS END SOCIAL

This presentation is part of the SEED Neighborhood's Summer's End Social – and directed at neighborhood residents and their friends. <3

If you want to come early for the work party, bring your garden gloves and pull some weeds in Bing Kee food forest or stay after and share a dish for potluck dinner, listening to some joyous and soothing live music by the Dan & Dan Duo (Dan Parker and Dan Geselbracht).

DONATIONS WELCOME!

Donations to SEED are always welcomed and used to organize community events, ecological restoration work, growing food forests and creating local resilience networks.

Donations can be cash or e-transfer to
>> seedncoop@gmail.com

We look forward to seeing you there,
— Jenni Ottilie, Madeleine and Barbie
