Meet Me: Beyond Job Titles & Borders
As international women in Finland, we are often defined by practical labels: our job titles, visa status, nationality, or even our language level. While these markers help navigate daily life, they can also limit how we see ourselves and how others perceive us.
IWWOF invites you to a different kind of conversation.
On April 23rd, we are gathering at Omo Omo Cafe to explore a simple but powerful question: Who are we, beyond all these labels?
What to expect:
The "label-free" introduction: We’ll start the evening by introducing ourselves without mentioning our occupation, age, nationality, or relationship status.
Values & strengths: Instead, we’ll talk about our personal values, what drives us, and what inspires our journey in Finland.
Deep connections: By moving past the traditional "small talk," we create a space for more authentic and meaningful sisterhood.
Traditional networking: Don’t worry, we’ll still have time for traditional networking later in the session to exchange contacts and support each other's professional paths.
The goal: To remind ourselves that we do not lose our identity without a job title. Whether you are currently working, transitioning careers, or exploring new paths, your value remains the same.
Come as you are. Let’s connect on a human level.
