AI for Material Science with Xiang Fu (Periodic Labs)

​Join us for our first reading group event in SF at the a16z SF office with Xiang Fu (Periodic Labs) and Malika Aubakirova (a16z AI Infra)!

​For this session, we'll be discussing two breakthrough papers in the AI for Material Science domain:

• ​UMA: A Family of Universal Models for Atoms (link)

• ​MatterGen: A Generative Model for Inorganic Materials Design (link)

​We'll gather ~15-20 folks of different research backgrounds together to go through the key sections of the paper, discuss results, and understand important research outcomes.
