Malaysia Science Scholar's Programme (MYSSP) 2026

​The Malaysia Science Scholars' Programme (MYSSP) 2026 is a free, 2-month online science research mentorship programme run by MYResearchGuide, built to give Malaysia's most driven students direct access to STEM research mentorship and foundational research skills.

​Selected students are paired with researchers and professors from institutions including Cambridge, HKUST, NUS, and Warwick. Teams are given 8 weeks to navigate their project journeys and given hands-on opportunity to scope a research question, design a methodology, collecting analyse data, and prepare scientific write-ups and presentations to showcase their findings live on our Demo Day.

​12 projects across all STEM categories, 3 participant slots each.

​Who can participate?

• ​Students aged 14 to 20 as of 1 January 2026

• ​Form 3 to 5 (SPM), Year 9 to 11 (IGCSE), or equivalent

• ​Pre-university students in A-Levels, Foundation, STPM, Matriculation, UEC, or equivalent

• ​No prior research experience required
