Hire a Human: Public affairs networking for mid-level talent
🤸 What is this event?
This is our first ever Hire a Human event. "Hire a Human" is an event series designed to bring the human element back into hiring in public affairs.
The event will be an opportunity to connect directly with others searching for roles/currently working in public affairs, get practical support, and build relationships that go beyond what a CV can show.
This session is delivered in partnership with Michael Page and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Public Affairs Committee. It is focused specifically on mid-level talent.
Who is it for?
Public affairs professionals who are hiring at the 4-8 years experience level.
Those actively job seeking or considering their next move
Hiring managers who are hiring at the 4-8 years experience level
This event is designed for people who already have experience in public affairs and are looking to take their next step.
What does 4-8 years experience mean?
Great question!
What we mean by this is you are a public affairs professionals who is currently working at managerial/senior managerial level looking to step up into a Head of Public Affairs/Policy Lead/senior level role. We estimate that you will have 4-8 years experience in public affairs.
You might be working in-house or in an agency and are looking to take on more strategic responsibility or a team leadership role.
What to expect?
This event will be a relaxed networking environment to help you connect with others in public affairs who are looking for roles. It will also offer you the opportunity to get advice from Michael Page recruiters who have years of experience in decoding expectations, sifting through CVs and getting applicants to interview and into roles.
We are committed to getting the absolute best out of you and making the event feel like you get to genuinely connect with others and get to know hiring managers/others going through the same process as you.
