Oasis Academy Speaker Series - Lisa Arnett
Our January Speaker Series continues with Lisa Arnett, an advocate, veteran, and survivor whose story is a testament to courage, discipline, and the power of turning pain into purpose.
Lisa lived in 36 homes before aging out of foster care and becoming homeless at 18. She later appeared on Dr. Phil, where she shared her journey navigating the foster system and the heartbreaking reality of her sister being trafficked from care. Her voice, grounded in lived experience and unshakable resolve, has since become a catalyst for change.
Drawing on the discipline of a U.S. Army veteran and the fortitude of a survivor, Lisa offers audiences practical, strategic tools to confront systemic adversity. She is widely recognized for her fierce commitment to foster care reform and trafficking prevention, inspiring communities to transform personal trauma into focused, lasting action.
Join us on Wednesday, January 21 at 12:00 pm PT for a conversation about resilience, advocacy, and what it means to rise in the face of systems that were not built to support you.
Together, we’ll explore healing, identity, and hope.
