Gorillas was a German ultrafast grocery delivery company which became the fastest startup to reach unicorn status in less than 9 months. Founded in 2020, it was acquired in December 2022 by Getir, after having raised almost 1.5bn from investors, and being available in more than 50 cities across the globe.
Forto is a German logistics company founded in 2016 that has revolutionized global shipping and supply chain management. Forto’s team raised over $700 million in capital, driving Forto to a valuation of $2 billion by 2022, placing it among Germany’s unicorn companies.
Trade Republic is a fintech success story, revolutionizing investing across Europe since its inception in 2015. With over $1.4 billion raised from top investors like Sequoia and Project A, it offers commission-free trading in stocks, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies. Trade Republic holds a Banking License from the ECB and is available in multiple EU countries.

Project A is one of the leading early-stage tech investors in Europe with offices in Berlin and London. Project A manages 1bn€ AuM and has backed more than 100 startups including companies such as Trade Republic, WorldRemit, Sennder, KRY, and Forto.
Project A recently launched a venture studio, enabling founders to ideate at the earliest stage with the support of experts from Project A’s dedicated platform team. Some of the companies that came out of the studio are 11x, ARX, Root, Andercore amongst others.
