All bodies here, and their relationship to machines, are non-conforming.
Two performers, live music, and two artists doing real-time visuals (analog and AI-generated) projected during the show. The performers’ movements are captured live and turned into visuals as they happen.
The audience’s own gaze is implicated too, watching bodies watching themselves be watched.
Behind the machines: SUUPERPOSE (Babin x Duchêne)
SUUPERPOSE is a collaborative live visual project (a 60+ woman and a trans guy) where machines and bodies meet at the risk of crashing together, for the pleasure of it. They work with friends, artists and performers. Real touch leaks into the system. Physical bodies and mediated bodies overlap in real time. Who captures whom?
