In the mountains of Enshi, tea gardens exist within a complex ecosystem of forests, plants, animals, water and people. Here, the way tea is cultivated is inseparable from the landscape around it — and from the knowledge and craft passed down through generations.

In this T*SCHOOL seminar, we will explore Enshi through tea, looking beyond the cup to the places and practices that bring each tea to life.

We will taste a selection of teas from the region while exploring how landscape, ecological cultivation and craft shape the character of tea.
But this is not only a tasting. It is an invitation to experience tea as a connection between place, people and practice — from the steep mountain paths where the tea grows to the hands that craft the leaves, and finally to the quiet moment when we prepare and drink them.
