Signature Gathering at Mountain View May Day
Join us to gather signatures for Connect Bay Area, the five-county regional transit funding measure!
We will meet at Rengstorff Park at 4:45pm in front of the Community Center, which is the starting point for the May Day March that ends at a Rally at the Mountain View Civic Center.
If you haven't gathered signatures before, you are very welcome! There will be a short training at 4:45pm - please arrive then if you need training and petition supplies.
The May Day march group will start to assemble at Rengstorff Park at 5pm. The March will leave Rengstorff Park at 540pm, and will head up to El Camino on foot, continuing on El Camino to Castro, on the north side of the sidewalk, on the sidewalk only, and finally convene at Civic Center Plaza, where there will be a rally through 6:30pm for solidarity and speakers.
Everyone is welcome to be there for the whole time or just pop by to help for a bit.
To join the group training session, please to meet at the 4:45 start time. But if you've already attended a training (or if you complete online training in advance by reading our training guide then completing this form), you can join anytime before the end of the event.
You can find the signature lead at Rengstorff before 5:30 or at the Civic Center Plaza to drop off completed petitions and/or pick up new ones.

No experience necessary. You just need to be 18 years old to gather signatures. If you're under 18, let us know at connectbayarea26@gmail.com as there are many other ways to be involved and help!
