About Event

As we are in October - which is also the Mental Wellness month , here's a statistic that you must know.

80% of people say that they feel stressed at work

Negative feedback refers to criticism or unfavorable remarks about our performance, behavior, or actions at work. While often necessary for growth and improvement, it can be hard to receive and process, particularly if it's perceived as overly critical or harsh.

The Impact on Mental Health
Negative feedback, especially when poorly delivered or constant, can affect mental health. It can lead to feelings of self-doubt, decreased motivation, anxiety, and stress. In some cases, it may even cause burnout if not managed effectively. A healthy work environment requires us to build resilience and develop a balanced approach to processing feedback.

How to Tackle Negative Feedback

In the upcoming session, Santhosh Kumar will guide us through strategies to handle negative feedback constructively, including:

Active Listening: Understand the core message without getting defensive.
Separating Feedback from Self-Worth: View feedback as an opportunity for growth, not a personal attack.
Seeking Clarity: Ask questions to better understand the feedback and how to improve.
Mindset Shift: Cultivate a growth mindset by reframing criticism as a chance to learn.
Self-Care: Learn how to protect your mental health while managing feedback constructively.
