​Some wines can't be repeated. Not because something went wrong, but because everything went right in a way that just can't be recreated. Tonight we're opening bottles that are one of a kind: experiments that worked, the last of only 600 bottles ever made, and cuvees that even the winemakers couldn't replicate if they tried. Once these are gone, they're gone. Consider this your chance to drink something that will never exist again!

​Sip Stories is a laid back and intimate tasting experience built around small scale Portuguese wines. Each session shares stories about the grapes, land and people behind what's in your glass. We keep the table deliberately small so there's room for real conversation (and second pours!).

​Your Host/What to expect

​Hi! I'm Valerie, ex-diplomat, accidental somm and full on wine nerd. I've worked harvest with tiny producers in Portugal, created wine lists for restaurants, and am now on a mission to build a community of wine curious people who prefer conversation over a masterclass. I'll be opening bottles you won't see in supermarkets, and we'll spend an evening finding out why we like what we like, how to describe it without being pretentious (I try at least) and appreciating the people and passion behind every bottle.

​Come for the wine, stay for the stories, and leave knowing a little bit more about what makes Portuguese wine the middle child of the wine world.
