About the Speaker
Usha Srinivasan is a founder, ecosystem builder, and talent strategist with over 15 years of experience designing and leading workforce, entrepreneurship, and innovation programs in Canada. She is the Founder and CEO of BReady.ai, an AI-enabled talent matching platform focused on connecting employers with skilled talent, and has also founded ventures spanning education and economic development.
Previously, Usha served as the Founding Director of the Brampton Venture Zone at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), where she launched and led a university-affiliated incubator supported by the City of Brampton. Under her leadership, the incubator was successfully renewed, ensuring its long-term impact in the regional innovation ecosystem. She has also held senior leadership roles in Canada’s tech and startup community, including Vice President of Partnership and Talent at Elevate.
In addition to her operational roles, Usha is an angel investor and a Limited Partner at Flair Ventures, supporting BIPOC entrepreneurs, and remains actively engaged in building inclusive talent and economic development systems across Canada.
