Summer Retreat in Seattle

​The FC Summer Retreat is Fractional Coordinator’s flagship executive training program and the most intensive learning experience we offer. Each August, twenty-four senior practitioners gather in downtown Seattle for five days of immersive instruction, advanced case practice, strategic leadership development, and direct mentorship from FC’s senior faculty.

​Designed for experienced coordinators, investigators, civil rights professionals, and institutional leaders, the Summer Retreat is not a traditional conference or certification course. It is a working retreat where participants challenge assumptions, refine judgment, evaluate operating models, and build lasting professional relationships with peers from across the country.

​Many alumni return as faculty, mentors, and collaborators, making the Summer Retreat not only an educational experience but the beginning of a professional community that often spans decades.

​The FC Summer Retreat is a five-day, in-person executive program held annually each August in Seattle, Washington.

​Limited to twenty-four participants and led by five senior instructors, the retreat combines advanced instruction with collaborative learning through case consultation, operating model assessments, leadership strategy, and institutional planning.

​Rather than covering a broad survey of compliance topics, the Summer Retreat focuses on developing executive judgment, strengthening institutional leadership, and improving the effectiveness of compliance programs through practical application.
