Bernal Stairway Safari

​On this 3.3-mile, 2.5-hour one-way walk, we'll do a stairway safari in the Bernal Heights neighborhood. We'll start at Precita Park and head to the summit of Bernal Hill, stopping at a lesser-known open space and the Bernal Boulder on our way. We then pop by the Esmeralda slides for a quick wheeee! and then take a dirt path on our way to Holly Park. From there, we'll visit the Tompkins mosaic stairs and the Jarboe zig-zag stairs before reaching our final destination, Barebottle, for some post-hike libations and snacks. Come prepared to climb, as this route — while short — has 800 feet of elevation.
