Care at a Distance: AI, Sensors, Robotics & the Future of Aging - #SFTechWeek
As more families live apart from each other, how do we help aging parents live independently while giving adult children peace of mind? Our community partners, Xiaojing Xing and Crane Huang at Stanford University School of Medicine, invite the AgeTech SF community to a fascinating panel during the 2026 SF TECH WEEK.
Join us at Stanford for Care at a Distance: AI, Sensors, Robotics & the Future of Aging, an engineering and entrepreneurship focused conversation about the tools taking shape around remote care. Researchers and technology builders will share what AI, wearables, ambient sensing, robotics, and digital health can do today—and where the hardest challenges remain.
Panel 1: Sensing Wellbeing from a Distance
Ehsan Adeli — Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford; Director of the Stanford Translational AI (STAI) Lab
Jingwen Xiang — Head of Operations, Luffu
Tian Lan — Founder and CEO, Care Mojo
Ziv Lautman — Co-founder and CEO, Greenlue
Moderator: Crane Huang, Stanford School of Medicine
Panel 2: Robotics for Independent Living
Michelle Baldonado — Research Scientist at Stanford Robotics Center, leading Stanford Older Adult Robotics (SOAR) project
Nan Li — Co-founder, Nurox Robotics
Tom Wang — Founder and CEO, Intuitive Autonomy
Chris (Xiaochen) Liu — Co-founder & CTO, DeepReach.AI
