About Olumide:
Olumide Bolu is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and an Employment and Immigration Consultant at the University of Toronto, where he has spent the past eight years supporting international students, staff, and their families as they navigate the complexities of immigration and employment in Canada. Previously, he served as an International Student Adviser at Queen’s University for two years, further solidifying his expertise in supporting newcomers.
As a former international student, he understands firsthand the challenges of adapting to a new country. His lived experiences fuel his commitment to developing culturally sensitive, high-quality support services and programming that empower newcomers to succeed.
He recognizes the bold leap many take in choosing to come to Canada, often at great financial and emotional cost. With this in mind, he sees it as his professional duty to equip them with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to make the most of their experience.
