“Girls Just Wanna Hoop” A Juneteenth Beginner Basketball Workshop for Black Women.
A beginner-friendly basketball experience designed for Black women in NYC who have little to no experience playing basketball. This is a safe, supportive, and high energy space where you can laugh, learn, and take your first steps on the court. No judgment, No pressure, No prior experience required.
If you don’t have basketball shoes, no worries! Participants will be provided shoes a jersey upon arrival.
