Learn more about Yuya Matoba below:
Yuya first came to the Yukon in 2012, following his studies in sustainable community development and field studies in Ghana. After spending a year in the Yukon, Yuya returned to his home country of Japan to finish school and worked as a human resource expert for a several years. Yuya eventually found his way back to the Yukon after falling in love with the territory.
βYuya channeled his passion for the Yukon into his work in the tourism industry. After 5+ years working as a tour guide, Yuya is now the Manager, Labour Market Programming.
