About Event

Got a project that won't leave you alone? Keeps showing up at weird hours with big feelings and mysterious moods? Maybe it's gone quiet lately—giving you the silent treatment because you've been trying to manage it instead of dancing with it?

Your project is alive! Learn to play with it

Alongside other seasoned creatives and founders, in this 90-minute workshop you'll experience what happens when you treat your project like the living being it actually is.

Together, we'll:

  • Meet your project through guided listening and journaling exercises

  • Get real about your actual relationship with your work, not the one you wished you had

  • Discover why projects get moody and what they're usually upset about

  • Share stories and compare notes about creative life

If you're curious about a more playful way to work, this is your invitation.

Who's this for?

Experienced makers with projects that matter. You've built things before. You know how to hustle, how to ship, how to make it happen. But maybe you're ready for a different way—one where the work feels less like wrestling and more like play.

What to bring

A project that's meaningful to you. Could be a business, a creative work, a big transition—something you're actively working on and ready to approach differently.

What you'll take away

  • A felt sense of what it's like to work with your project

  • Practices for listening to what your work actually needs from you

  • Permission to work at your own pace, in your own way

  • The Meet Your Project Kit with practices and prompts to continue building your relationship with your project

  • A 30-minute coaching session available to all participants within 2 weeks of the workshop

Your Guides

Dave & Kristen, co-founders of Play Into Being, have spent years helping successful creators like you discover what happens when you treat your work as a living partner instead of a problem to solve. We've watched projects and their people find each other, fight it out, and figure out how to play together. We'd love to help you and your project do the same.

👉 Play Into Being, a Studio for Creative Productivity
