The Biryani Project Supper Club — September Dinner
Hi, I'm Zehra. Not a chef. Not a food critic. Just someone who's spent twenty-five years perfecting her biryani, thinking about biryani, and gathering people around it — and realizing the dish was never really the point.
This is the second dinner of The Biryani Project Supper Club: a curated night at my place in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, once a month. I cook, you eat, and somewhere in between we talk about the stories biryani carries — migration, memory, identity, whatever it means to you. Come with your stories and wanting to meet and hang out with strangers in an informal, fun and cosy environment. I'm really looking forward to hosting you all.
You don't need a full on story it really can be just, where do you think biryani originated? Where was the most memorable biryani you ate? Who makes your fave biryani? Anything goes :)
What's included ($50/person):
Goat biryani
Beverages (non alcoholic---$15 extra for unlimited wine)
Dessert
