Better Posture is a simple methodology for posture restoration developped by Evan Rosio, life coach and RYT-500 teacher.
What to bring
The exercises are performed wearing comfortable clothes and without any equipment. Floor and wall are actively used for body feedback.
Schedule
10am Body workout.Suitable for any level, used as preparation for the postural work.
10:20am Postural exercises. Specific exercises targeting pelvic alignment, spine mobility, shoulder rotation, forward neck correction and simple regulation techniques to improve effectiveness.
10:45am Postural test and sequence. We will test our posture and we will learn a simple sequence that can be executed in 15 seconds and practiced any time during the day.
Introducing Better Posture
If you spend five or more hours a day looking at a screen, your posture is steadily drifting. The head shifts forward, the shoulders round, and the supporting muscles switch off. This is not a personal failure. It is the predictable adaptation of a body living with screens, and badly designed work spaces, chairs and sofas.

Better Posture is a postural restoration method for healthy adults, based on muscle re-activation, joints mobility, stability and alignment. It rests on a single principle that governs everything else:
There is only one goal: posture awareness. Everything else is a consequence.
The practice is built around a self-reinforcing rhythm: a weekly class to learn and connect, a short daily practice to keep the body changing, and instant tools that make the practice functional.
The practice is designed to be pleasurable and rewarding, because these are the most reliable predictors of whether a person will stick to the method.
What to expect
The result, over time, is dormant muscles reactivating, joints moving more freely, greater stability, better looking posture and a more settled nervous system — yet none of those outcomes is the goal. Simply being aware of your posture is the goal, the rest happens naturally as you practise.
