WMC Pro Canyon Guide Training
Join us for a Pro Canyoneering Guide Training Session designed for experienced canyoneers who want to develop the technical, leadership, and risk management skills required of professional guides. Participants will practice advanced rope systems, rescue techniques, team management, hazard assessment, communication, and efficient canyon travel under realistic field conditions. The training emphasizes sound judgment, proficiency, and industry best practices while preparing participants for professional guide assessment. This hands-on course is ideal for committed canyoneers seeking to elevate their skills, improve safety margins, and gain the confidence necessary to lead others in challenging canyon environments.

Registration & Attendance: To join this free Wasatch Mountain Club event, ensure you have:
At least an Entry Level (EL) Certification! Some trips might need certifications at Canyon Guides International (CGI) Levels 1-3.
An active Wasatch Mountain Club (WMC) membership. Space is limited, so please RSVP individually. If your plans change, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance so others can participate. No-shows or late cancellations are discouraged and could result in blacklisting.
