About Event

Blue Tech drives the Blue Economy, which is all about oceans, it’s resources and sustainability. It is the $1.5 Trillion and quickly growing advanced technology sector of the maritime industry, which drives sustainable innovation across emerging markets of the Blue Economy.  Although people have utilized ocean resources for millennia, the Blue Economy represents a consolidated and conscious sustainable development strategy that aims to incorporate the ocean into all levels of the economy.

In this program we will explore what this market is, how it is being addressed and who is driving it forward.  Additionally, we will look at some of the businesses that are adapting it, and some of the entrepreneurial opportunities being pursued.

We will have a keynote speaker give an overview of this industry, and set the stage for our panel of entrepreneurs, industry influencers and venture capital funder followed by a moderated panel discussion and finish with audience questions.
