About Event

Organised by Loggerhead Ventures, Agora 2.0: The Climate Tech Debate is a curated side event of the Panathēnea Festival, bringing together investors, founders, industry leaders, and policymakers to address one of the most pressing questions facing climate innovation today: is climate tech losing momentum or evolving into critical economic and industrial infrastructure?

Agora 2.0 moves beyond sustainability narratives to examine climate technologies as systems that must deliver measurable environmental impact, profitability, and resilience under real-world conditions - not as a moral imperative, but as a driver of competitiveness, security, and long-term sovereignty.

The event, moderated by journalist Tina Michailidou, will feature:

A moderated panel discussion with:

  • Evangelos Kosmidis — CEO & General Partner, Loggerhead Ventures

  • Petros Kokkalis — Environmental Advocate, Social Innovator, and European Leader

  • Markus Aicheler — Founder & CTO, SolidWatts

  • Spillios Dellis — R&D Director, Raymetrics

  • Vasilis Nikolopoulos — CTO & Co-founder, Avokado

Followed by a startup presentation session featuring:

  • OroraTech — Ioannis Lantouris, Director of Business Operations & Managing Director Greece

  • Quantum Optima — Nikos Douros, CEO & Co-Founder

  • EdenCore — Nikos Mylonas, CEO & Co-founder

  • H2Rema — Ioakeim Sioutis, Co-founder & CTO

  • HYPPOS — Evangelos Alepochoritis, CEO

The second part of the event will showcase real-world climate technologies connected to resilience, optimisation, infrastructure, and operational intelligence through short presentations and audience discussion.
