Yoga for Lawyers (with Tsui)
Practicing law can be stressful (especially for immigration lawyers with all the recent developments in immigration law).
While that stress is not always avoidable, there are ways to de-stress through strong wellness practices and by surrounding yourself with peers who are going through similar stressful experiences.
With Yoga for Lawyers, I look to create a space for those of you who want to:
Get started with developing strong wellness practices (yoga being one activity that has helped a lot in my own experiences of dealing with stress as a lawyer).
Deepen your own practice of yoga through new techniques.
Meet like-minded lawyers who are also interested in wellness.
This event is open to all levels of yoga.
Location and date may be subject to change.
Number of attendees will be limited to around 25-30.
About me:
I’ve been practicing yoga since 1998. At first, I would only go every now and then. And I really didn’t ‘get’ yoga for a long time.
But yoga helped me get through a really difficult time in my life – and since then, I’ve found yoga to be a source of well-being and equanimity, especially during these trying times.
