About

This lecture is part of the NBS-PRI-ECGI Public Lecture Series, a global joint initiative by Nanyang Business School (NBS), Principles for Responsible Investment and European Corporate Governance Institute to facilitate knowledge exchange between academia, industry, and policymakers in sustainable business.

As geopolitical tensions continue to reshape the global business landscape, organisations face growing political risks across their supply chains, workforce, customers, and operating environments. This session explores why traditional approaches to managing political risk are becoming less effective and introduces a conflict-listening framework that helps organisations identify early signs of conflict and better understand local stakeholder concerns.

Drawing on research and real-world examples, the speaker will share practical insights on political risk assessment, due diligence, and stakeholder engagement.
