Join Tarbiyah Collective Initiative for Cocoa & Community — a relaxed fall afternoon for Muslim families to gather, connect, enjoy the outdoors, and give back to the local community.
Cocoa & Community is a way to give back to the Airdrie community. Each family is asked to bring one small bag of non-perishable groceries for the Airdrie Food Bank. Food bank collection boxes will be available at the event near the check-in table.
This event is intentionally simple and low-key — a space for families to meet one another, for children and teens to meet and play, and for community members to contribute through service and generosity.

Event Details:
Who: Families and community members of all ages
When: Saturday, October 31, 2026 | 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Where: Nose Creek Regional Park, Airdrie, AB
Ticket: $20 per family
Your ticket includes:
Hot chocolate station
Bonfire and s'mores
Nature scavenger hunt
Fall-themed games and activities
Fall-themed crafts and sensory play
Cookie decorating
Time to connect and socialize with other Muslim families
Tickets are non-refundable. There are no additional costs associated with the event - all activities are covered under the ticket fee.
Food Drive for Airdrie Food Bank:
Each family is requested to bring one small bag of non-perishable groceries for the Airdrie Food Bank. A list of accepted non-perishable food items is attached below. For the purposes of this event, please bring NON-PERISHABLE food items only. Volunteer Opportunity:
