U.S.-Japan AI Governance Symposium
The U.S.–Japan AI Governance Symposium, hosted by Stanford University and the U.S.–Japan Foundation with support from Kyoto University and Perplexity AI, brings together senior policymakers, industry leaders, academics, and media representatives from both countries to discuss the future of AI governance and U.S.–Japan cooperation. The program is independently programmed and focused on policy, governance, and bilateral cooperation rather than products, and will be held under the Chatham House Rule to support candid, high‑level dialogue.
