​Baking Workshop: Halloween Cupcakes

​One day a year, food is allowed to be silly. Halloween is that day.

​You make six cupcakes from scratch: the batter, the baking, the buttercream on top. Then the fun part. Ghosts, pumpkins, a spider if you dare. The colours come from real things, so black is charcoal and orange is pumpkin. Nothing in the kitchen has a barcode.

​The two hours are all hands. You mix and fill the cases yourself, and while the trays are in the oven, there is tea. When they are cool enough, you pipe. The first ghost will look worried. The rest get braver.

​Everything is plant-based: the cake, the cream, the colours.

​You eat one warm. Five go home in a box, for whoever knocks on the door.

​Agenda
15:00 Arrive, aprons on. What makes a cupcake rise, in plain terms.
15:20 Batter. Weigh, mix, fill the cases.
15:50 Into the oven. Tea while they bake and cool.
16:30 Pipe and decorate.
17:15 Eat one.
17:30 Home, with a box.

​一年里有一天，食物可以名正言顺地不正经。万圣节就是这一天。

​你从头做六个杯子蛋糕：面糊、烘烤、顶上的奶油。然后是好玩的部分。小幽灵、南瓜、胆子大的话再来只蜘蛛。颜色都来自真的东西，黑色是竹炭，橙色是南瓜。厨房里没有一样带条形码的。

​这两个小时全部用来动手。面糊自己拌、自己装模，烤盘在烤箱里的时候有茶。放到不烫手，就开始裱花。第一只幽灵多半一脸愁容，后面的会越来越胆大。

​全程纯素：蛋糕、奶油、颜色，都是。

​趁热吃一个。剩下五个装盒带回家，留给来敲门的人。

​活动流程
15:00 到场，系上围裙。用最直白的话讲讲杯子蛋糕为什么会发起来。
15:20 面糊。称重、搅拌、装模。
15:50 进烤箱。等烤和放凉的时候喝茶。
16:30 裱花、装饰。
17:15 吃一个。
17:30 带一盒回家。
