New Year's Dive Oostende with the EU Climate Pact

​Dive in action with the Pact

​Join our group of enthusiasts to take the dive with the EU Climate Pact, because the clock is ticking!

​What are we going to do?
We join the dive, but that's not all! We will bring a giant clock to the beach, indicating it’s 5 to twelve, symbolizing the need for action to protect our seas and climate. With this clock, we want to send a strong message, and hope to catch the attention of the broad audience and media.

On the beach, we create video testimonials of Ambassadors who take the plunge, explaining the importance of our seas for climate stability, and the need for action. These will be shared online after the event, in the form of a social media campaign on climate and Oceans.

​Who can join?
Everyone! Whether you are a Pact Ambassador, Partner or Friend of the Pact, or whether you just learned about our existence, you are welcome to join us if you want to support our message.

​! The New Year's dive is a paying event organised by Toerisme Oostende. If you register in advance via the EU Climate Pact, you receive your ticket for free at our booth on the Zeedijk.
