Hike & Lunch at Guincho
This Sunday we’re heading to the Guincho area for a proper day out: a beautiful coastal hike, ocean views, good company, and a shared lunch afterward.
It’s the kind of route that has a bit of everything to keep things interesting along the way. We’ll pass by the famous Guincho Beach, see the old Guincho fortress, and stop by a small hidden rocky beach. As always, this is not only about the hike itself, but also about the people, conversations, and the simple pleasure of spending a day outdoors together.
🥾 The hike
We’ll do a circular route starting from a little village next to Guincho at 10:00.
The hike is moderately challenging: around 11 km, 270 m elevation gain, and about 3,5 hours at a relaxed, social pace.
🍽️ After the hike
After the walk, we’ll go for a lunch at the local restaurant in the village and enjoy a slow ending to the day together.
💡 Guided conversations
Usually, conversations on our hikes flow naturally. This time, we’ll take it one step deeper by choosing a theme to explore together — sharing experiences, perspectives, and different ways of seeing life.
‼️Getting there:
If you are coming from Lisbon, you can take a train to Cascais from Cais de Sodre and share an Uber with other participants from the train station to the meeting point (9-6-9 EUR). Please plan to arrive in Cascais no later than 9:30.
