Salon Topic - Where do we go from here: what are our hopes and worries after the midterms?
Come as you are. There is no formal dress code. Wine and light refreshments will be provided.
Prelude (6:30 pm) - Guests arrive, mingle, and settle in with a light snack and a drink. Nobody in the room knows everyone, including the host.
Salon (7:00 pm) - A question is posed that has no settled answer. Space is held for all to be seen and heard. The rule is more curiosity than conviction. The real connection isn't with the people already in agreement: it's with the ones we normally would disagree with but chose to lean in and listen instead.
Coda (9:00 pm) - The room exhales. People are free to dive deeper with someone new, say what needs saying, or simply sit with what surfaced. Nothing here is rushed. The energy goes where it needs to.
