About Event

As extreme heat increasingly affects worker health, productivity, and business resilience across global supply chains, the evidence for action is becoming clearer than ever. Yet, while many practical workplace heat adaptation solutions already exist, the challenge today is scaling their adoption.

This closed-door convening brings together leaders from philanthropy, global brands, manufacturers, researchers, solution providers, and the broader climate ecosystem to explore how workplace heat adaptation can move from promising pilots to mainstream industry practice.

The discussion will be grounded in emerging evidence from India and Bangladesh, while looking ahead to the partnerships, financing models, and implementation approaches needed to build more climate-resilient workplaces across global supply chains.

What to Expect

  • New evidence from Good Business Lab's workplace heat research, including the preview of a costing model that provides insights on the business case for investing in heat adaptation.

  • The launch of Threading Resilience, United Nations Foundation's new consortium focused on advancing workplace heat resilience in the textile industry.

  • Spotlight panel and interactive discussion exploring implementation lessons, financing approaches, and opportunities for collaboration.

  • An opportunity to connect with peers over an informal networking following the discussion.

Participation

This is an invite-only event designed to encourage open discussion and peer learning. Conversations will follow the Chatham House Rule.
